Retail Tractor sales increase by 7.94% YoY in FY'23, shows FADA Research

FADA (federation of automobiles dealers association) has released its Monthly tractor sales report on tractors of different brands in india, the report denotes the growth in the sales of tractors by 7.94% YoY in FY'23 as compared to FY'22.

As per the reports generated by FADA, the overall tractor sale increased this FY'23 compared to FY'22. All the tractor brands ruling the Indian market have shown better growth in their sales this financial year in FY'23, which also governs the increasing demand for tractors in the Indian market and growth in respective sectors. So, let's look into getting an individual insight into the sales of all the tractor brands.

Tractor Sales FY'2023:

Sales report for Mahindra and Mahindra:

Mahindra tractors as always have acquired a top position by selling their tractors successfully with 1,76,736 more tractors this FY'23 than other tractor brands in the industry and showing a rise in their own sales of FY'23 against the sales of FY'22, which had a total sales of 1,45,916.

 

Sales report for Mahindra and Mahindra under Swaraj Division: 

Swaraj tractors have acquired a 2nd position with increased tractor sales this FY'23 with 1,28,698 more sales, which is comparatively higher than the previous year FY'22, which had a total sales of 1,04,674.

 

Sales report for International tractors limited (Sonalika Tractor): 

The ITL - Sonalika tractors have attained the 3rd position with the increased monthly tractor sales with 97,743 for FY'23 against FY'22, which accounted for 89,962 with gaslight change in the sales number. Hence, sonalika tractors also increased its sales this year.

 

Sales report for Escorts Kubota Limited (Farmtrac, Powertrac and Digitrac):

The tractor sales figure of Escorts for FY'23 has shown good growth in their sales made as compared to their sales of previous FY'22. The sales for FY'23 are 79,531 against FY'22, which had 66,543 tractor sales.

 

Sales report for TAFE Limited ( Massey Ferguson Tractor)

The 5th on the list comes TAFE. TAFE has done good sales of their tractors which have increased their sales from 81,217 in the previous year FY'22 to 92,546 this year in FY'23.

 

Sales report for John Deere:

John Deere has shown nice growth in its sales for FY'23 with 60,450 total sales compared to its last year's sales, which was 52,489 in FY'22. This also indicates the John Deere tractor demand in the farmer community.

Sales report for Eicher Tractors :

Eicher tractor shows a slight increase in their sales this year in FY'23 with 52,870 tractor sales, which is comparatively higher than the previous year FY'22, which had 51,065 total sales.

 

Sales report for CNH Industrial (New Holland):

CNH has also shown a better increase in their sales with 30,047 compared to the previous year s FY'22 figure, which ended at 25,520 tractor sales.

 

Sales report for Kubota:

Kubota tractors have shown growth in their sales figure which touched 20,753 that is higher than the previous year's sales of FY'22, which closed at 16,424 sales.

 

Sales report of Other tractors: 

If we look into other tractor brands like VST, FORCE, INDO FARM, Preet tractors, etc. there are ups and down in the sales figures. Some have acquired rise and decline in their tractor sales for the year FY'23 and FY'22. Hence,  All these popular tractor brands in India have managed to increase their tractor sales in the Indian market with their consistent efforts towards providing advanced technology and high-quality tractors and good marketing efforts.
